Adult Psychotherapy

.

In my individual work I provide assistance with diagnosis, treatment and management of psychological concerns. My approach is from a psychodynamic perspective but tailored to the needs of my client. My primary objective is to provide a professional, warm and honest space for my clients to feel they can express themselves in a contained and confidential environment. With this in mind, it is important for my clients to be able to utilize the therapeutic relationship to develop personally and feel more confident to handle every day stress and psychological distress. I work with a wide array of psychological issues, including:
.

  • Mood and anxiety disorders
  • Adjustment difficulties
  • Personal growth
  • Relationship/Interpersonal difficulties
  • Bereavement

I conduct a three session assessment with my adult clients in order for them to identify which areas of life may require attention and clarity, to decide as to whether this journey is appropriate for them at the time and to assess which therapeutic intervention would be most suitable for their individual needs.
